Refreshed, reorganised, revitalised: Vol.To. is back.

A brand-new website for Vol.To – Volontariato Torino ETS, a recognised second-level Third Sector organisation (i.e. an association of associations). The website has been revamped with the aim of making it easier to use for two main groups of users: voluntary organisations (the precise term is Third Sector Entities or ETS, but this way it’s immediately clear) and people who would like to do good for others by giving their time and energy. And if you’re wondering why we didn’t also use the .to domain (the one for the Tonga islands), the answer is simple: it’s practically impossible.
In any case, you can find the Vol.To website here.

The four main channels

A new layout, a new way of organising content to help you find the information you need quickly, more features, easy-to-use calendars for consultations and training, and a live chat service for requesting assistance. The website is organised into four main sections: one for third sector organisations, with all the services they can request at the click of a button; one for people wishing to become volunteers; one for businesses wanting to support volunteering; and one for institutions that can find in Vol.To an experienced partner with whom to develop concrete projects. To ease the transition from the previous website (or rather, the three previous websites), we have provided a brief guide in place of the usual site map, which you can also read.

Consultancy makes the difference, and training brings about a revolution

Group or individual, the consultancy services are one of the main drivers of Vol. To because they give more strength to voluntary organisations. The former are regular meetings of groups on issues of common concern during which the volunteers can put to the experts from Vol.To questions, find together the solutions, exchange views, practise. You can choose by topic or by date; signing up is then quick via the management system of Vol.To. The latter are designed to strengthen volunteers’ skills and safeguards, ranging from drafting the articles of association for a new organisation to providing specialist advice for ETS organisations accredited by Vol.To and beyond.

Even in volunteering, being fit is essential – both for yourself and for others: in short, to be a volunteer, you need to be in peak physical condition. The training programme devised by Vol.To is based on six areas: fitness, strength training, wellbeing, boot camp and the changing room. Within each area, there are courses for all levels, with the option to sign up directly or by date.
